The Work of Love – Mentor/Program Disclosure

 The Work of Love is a spiritually grounded educational program designed to support personal reflection, emotional growth, and compassionate community practices. Our mentors are trained volunteers who offer guidance based on the principles and curriculum of The Work of Love. They are not licensed mental health professionals, medical providers, legal advisors, or crisis‑intervention specialists. Participation in this program is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, medical care, or legal services. Any stories, reflections, or perspectives shared by mentors are offered for educational and spiritual insight only. They do not constitute professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.


MENTORS ARE TRAINED TO:


  • hold space with compassion and respect
  • support participants in exploring the curriculum
  • encourage reflection, accountability, and personal growth
  • maintain appropriate boundaries


MENTORS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO:

  • provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice
  • intervene in emergencies or crisis situations
  • make promises of outcomes or results
  • speak on behalf of the organization outside the curriculum


All participants are encouraged to seek qualified professional support for any concerns related to mental health, medical issues, safety, or legal matters.


By participating in The Work of Love, individuals acknowledge that they remain responsible for their own decisions, well‑being, and actions. 


The organization is not liable for any personal interpretations, choices, or outcomes that arise from participation in the program or from conversations with mentors.

The Work of Love is a spiritually grounded educational program dedicated to fostering compassion, accountability, and community healing. We honor the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of every individual who engages with our programs, website, and services. The Work of Love is designed exclusively for adults age 18 and older.
We do not work with minors, and we do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

  • A participant expresses intent to harm themselves or others
  • Abuse, exploitation, or danger is disclosed
