DEFINITION: Independent Contractor
An Independent Contractor is a self‑employed individual who provides services to The Work of Love while maintaining full control over how those services are performed. They are not employees, and therefore manage their own taxes, business expenses, and work methods. The Work of Love directs only the scope and outcome of the work—not the manner or means of completing it.
